Planned product lines include precision components and mobile platforms for inspection and patrol robots

HANGZHOU, China, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: GTEC) ("Greenland" or the "Company"), a developer and manufacturer of transmission and drivetrain systems for material-handling machinery and industrial vehicles, today announced plans to expand its product portfolio into the robotics market. The initiative is expected to focus on two areas: precision components for robot manufacturers and mobile platforms for inspection and patrol robots.

Greenland intends to apply its existing research and development expertise, precision-manufacturing capabilities and production capacity to the planned product lines. The Company expects to pursue opportunities to supply critical components to robotics companies worldwide while evaluating applications in which its drivetrain and vehicle-platform experience can support mobile robotic systems.

The planned expansion builds on Greenland's project with automated guided vehicles, or AGVs. Since 2019, the Company has engaged in and invested in the research and development of AGVs used for material movement within industrial facilities. Greenland believes the engineering knowledge and platform designs developed through that project may support the development path of inspection and patrol robot platforms.

Inspection and patrol robots can be equipped to perform recurring monitoring tasks in industrial facilities and other operating environments. Depending on the application and final product configuration, these platforms may support visual inspection, equipment monitoring, safety patrols and the collection of operating data. Greenland plans to assess specific configurations and market opportunities as the initiative advances.
