BANGKOK, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- This Mother's Day, IKEA Thailand looks beyond who children's furniture is designed for to recognize someone it has been supporting all along 'mothers'.

Walk through the IKEA Kids section and you'll find a familiar scene. Children trying out toys, sitting on tiny chairs, or exploring furniture designed around the way they play and grow.

But there is almost always someone else sharing those moments with them.

Their mothers.

Some sit patiently on chairs far too small for them. Some crouch down to play alongside their children. Others end up on the floor, completely immersed in whatever imaginary world their child has created.

At first glance, these may seem like ordinary moments between a mother and her child.

Look a little closer, however, and they reveal just how much a mother carries every day.

She carries her child. The bags. Hundreds of questions. The imagination needed to make up another story on the spot. Along with the laughter, memories, care and countless responsibilities that come with raising a child.

Because no one is born already knowing how to be a mother.

Yet when it comes to their children, mothers often find themselves becoming stronger, more patient, more playful and more imaginative, doing things they never thought they could.

This simple observation became the starting point for IKEA Thailand's Mother's Day campaign, "For All She Carries."

The campaign invites people to look at children's furniture from a different perspective.

While IKEA children's furniture is designed around the needs, play and development of children, real life shows that children are rarely the only ones it has to support.

Every time a mother crouches down to play, sits beside her child to read a story, helps them get dressed, answers yet another question or steps into their imaginary world, the furniture is supporting her too.

A child's chair becomes more than a place for a child to sit.

A storage unit becomes more than somewhere to keep things.

A floor cushion supports more than play.

And a child's bed can become much more than a place to sleep.

The print series brings this idea to life by revealing a second role hidden within familiar IKEA Kids products.

A floor cushion becomes a salon chair. A child's bed becomes a runway. A storage unit becomes a trackside seat.

Each execution captures an everyday moment between a mother and her child, showing how furniture made for children quietly becomes part of the many roles mothers take on alongside them.

Together, these pieces support all the moments in which mothers bend, sit, climb, play, tell stories, answer questions, comfort their children and build entire worlds with them.

So this Mother's Day, IKEA Thailand chose to celebrate mothers through something the brand has always done creating furniture that supports everyday life at home.

But instead of only showing what the furniture was designed to do, "For All She Carries" reveals everything and everyone it ends up supporting in real life.

To bring the idea into the place where these moments naturally happen, the campaign's print ads were installed inside IKEA stores, within the IKEA Kids section itself.

It is the same environment where mothers are already sitting beside their children, crouching down to play and becoming part of their imaginary worlds.

By placing the work there, the campaign does more than tell mothers a story from a distance. It reaches them while they are living the very moments the work is based on.

And in doing so, it invites them to see the children's furniture around them differently.

Not simply as something they buy for their children, but as something that has quietly been there for them too, supporting every role, every moment and everything they carry along the way.

Because behind everything she carries, there is something supporting her.

For All She Carries.

Happy Mother's Day.
