2014全美中學排行榜首15所考AP試100%合格

《美國新聞與世界報導》公布2014全美中學排行榜，全國近二萬所公立中學 ( Public High School ) 中，位於德洲的School for the Talented and Gifted脫穎而出，榮膺冠軍。1至40名名單請參閱下表。

備註:

英國大學每年大多在九月∕十月就開學，明年秋季入讀的申請人請注意下列日期：
10月15日 ── 申請入讀劍橋或牛津大學最後日期；申請其他大學醫科、牙醫或獸醫學，亦於該日截止。
2015年1月15日 ── 申請各大學其他學系∕學科的截止日期。

太古獎學金 ( Swire Scholarship at University College, Oxford University ) 歡迎港生申請入讀牛津大學，網址：www.swire.com。
截止申請日期為2015年10月15日，可選擇的學士課程多達30多個，由生物科學、法律、英文及英國文學、哲學、政治及經濟等，不一而足。
除了太古獎學金以外，新鴻基地產前主席郭炳湘亦成立「郭氏本科生獎學金」，下學年起資助兩名來自香港或中國的學生，赴英國牛津大學攻讀3或4年制本科課程，資助範圍包括大學學費約18.7萬港元、學院費8.7萬港元，生活費每年13.9萬至20.2萬港元；資助一名學生3 / 4年費用，最少要124萬港元，而可多達200萬港元。
全美中學排行榜上今屆排第四名的Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology曾得過全美冠軍殊榮，不可不知。
今屆排第十的Oxford Academy，曾排過很高的第二名，這所只收13至20歲男生的中學，有學生1,142名，教師多達39名，該校設有專為海外生而設的English as a Second Language ( ESL ) 英文特別班，並且聲明是「一對一」或「單對單」授課，讓學生盡快考獲托福英文試特優成績。
由第1至15名的著名中學，全部報考AP試的學生，百分之百及格，順利獲明星大學取錄自不待言；即使排16至40名的中學，成績一樣羨煞旁人，及格率99.4%至91.1%，學生獲得明星級或一級國家級大學青睞，可說垂手可得。
美國出色的中學，取錄學生嚴謹，貴精不貴多，以排27名的Gilbert Classical Academy High School為例，只有學生183人。即使最多學生的The Bronx High SChool of Science，亦只有學生3,103人。
