試下搵三個人睇你份CV,你就會有三個角度去睇到有乜嘢應該保留,有乜嘢應該刪走。近年唔少人認為 Objective Statement 已經過時,取而代之係「Summary Statement」或者乾脆直接跳過,專注寫工作經驗,因為大部分HR招聘官只會用7秒去Scan一份CV。但係,有一個情況之下,Objective Statement仍然係必須:重大職業轉變。例如你由創業人轉投市場推廣,或者由工程師轉做人力資源,單靠工作經驗未必能夠sell到俾HR。
數據唔會講大話:
常見錯誤
例如:「Objective: To obtain a position as a marketing specialist at a creative and powerful company that deploys my skills and experience。」呢啲空泛字眼只會浪費版位,因為每間公司都覺得自己「creative and powerful」,而且完全無講到你能帶來咩價值。
正確示範
一個好嘅Objective Statement應該:
例如:
"Objective: To leverage my 10+ years of deal-making experience, customer service skills, and expertise in the advertising industry in a public relations role at a growing marketing startup."
呢種寫法就好似一份總結性陳述,既展示咗技巧,又解釋咗點樣應用係新職場。
雖然有人話Objective Statement已死,但事實係,當你轉行或重返職場,佢仍然係最有效嘅定位工具。記住,CV無固定規則,重點係點樣令HR最快睇到你嘅價值。
