每逢颱風季節,打工仔最擔心嘅就係返工安排。近日超強颱風吹襲香港,有餐廳被指要求員工以例假補償缺勤,引起社會熱議。勞工及福利局局長孫玉菡在立法會回應時強調,《僱傭條例》清楚列明,僱主不可用僱員的年假、法定假日或休息日,抵銷因惡劣天氣或「極端情況」下未能上班的時間,如無合理辯解屬違法。

有工會批評部分僱主安排模糊,令員工權益受損,要求政府釐清指引。勞工界亦呼籲僱主以安全為首要考慮,避免迫員工冒險返工。打工仔遇上打風缺勤,僱主無權扣假或扣薪。若遇到不合理安排,員工可向勞工處投訴,保障自身權益。
