Cluster / Hospital / Department: Human Resources Division, Hong Kong East Cluster
Pay: HK$26,908 – HK$37,590 (HGPS Point 9 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clerical duties following general instructions or prescribed procedures with minimal supervision. The typical duties include:
1. Assist in day-to-day human resources operations in a specialized function.
2. Input data into human resources information systems.
3. Maintain human resources records.
4. Assist in preparation of management reports and / or statistical analysis.
5. Answer enquires from staff members and / or public.
6. Co-ordinate and provide logistic support in functions, meeting and activities organized by the Human Resources Division.
7. Supervise junior clerical and / or supporting staff.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent.
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects;
or equivalent.
2. 3 years' clerical experience with good knowledge of the functions and operations in human resources.
Preferred Attributes:
1. Working experience in human resources, in particular remuneration & benefits functions.
2. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
3. Responsible, self-motivated, self-disciplined, flexible, outgoing and able to perform assigned clerical work independently.
4. Good interpersonal relationship with good communication and organizational skills.
5. Hands-on experience in common office automation (e.g. email, internet, intranet, etc.), and proficiency in performing typing and computer operations in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.

2. Serving Staff who have completed F.5/S.5 or equivalent and have 3 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
