Ocean Park 海洋公園
Community Education Officer
Responsibilities
(Long-term Contract)The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong’s community education programmes, and supporting the Foundation’s conservation effort. He/she will manage the iconic education programmes of the Foundation, including but not limited to collaborations with corporates, universities and other stakeholders. He/she will also support the educational activities and other organizational works, such as, fundraising campaigns.
Requirements
- University graduate in Ecology/ Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Education or related disciplines- At least 2 years' relevant conservation education working experience in delivery of education talk, production of education material, NGO experience will be an advantage
- Practical experience in conducting ecological studies and survey
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Willing to work at outdoor environments for weekends and on public holidays
