Roles & responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk-based audits to access the adequacy of existing internal controls environment and identify appropriate action plans for mitigating risks and continuous improvement;
  • formulate and manage the action plans and programs for conducting effective audit review within the time frame and available resources;
  • direct supervise and coach an audit team to ensure quality audit work is delivered within the scheduled timeline;
  • carry out appropriate audit investigations and ad hoc assignments as directed by the management and the Board to ensure Corporate objectives are met;
  • liaise with related regulators or Government bodies on matters related to operating procedures in order to improve the existing internal control systems; and
  • present reports on audit findings recommendations and work progress on resolutions to enhance the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of the Group.

The ideal candidates should possess:
  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
  • a minimum of 8 years of internal audit and supervisory experiences;
  • Associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants/ Institute of Chartered Accountants/ Association of Chartered Certified Accountants/ Institute of Internal Auditors
  • independent, proactive, analytical-mind and strong interpersonal skills; and
  • proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
